Electricity Farming

It may sound crazy but it is possible. We can farm ‘Electricity’ in near future from Trees. It’s a new way or simply can be the future source of renewable energy that can thrive our quest for energy and power. Also, this can be the way to produce total green energy that we are seeking devotedly along with the concept of no carbon emission devised in COP26 THE GLASGOW CLIMATE PACT with the motto: to preserve a livable climate, greenhouse-gas emissions must be reduced to net 0 by 2050.

Researchers have found a way to produce power generated by trees. In fact, researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology found that plants can pack up to 200 millivolts of electrical power. A millivolt is one-thousandth of a volt. (Future US Inc. -Live Science , 2009) . To extract electricity from trees and convert it into useful energy, researchers built a boost converter capable of picking up as little as a 20-millivolt output and storing it to produce a greater output. By hooking it up to a tree using electrodes, the custom-built device was able to generate an output voltage of 1.1 volts, enough to run low-power sensors. It seems new way, but if we thorough the SIR JAGADISH CHANDRA BOSE thought where he points out the biophysical and plant-physiological investigations we found the base of this breakthrough process. Collaborating this thought and with the help of modern tech we possibly can harvest the Electricity from the trees in bigger way.

Now look to the green energy that everyone keeps saying are most of them require many spaces, needed allocation of heavy rain of financial support and causing some waste that will remain for long term. But if we can renovate this farming electricity concept and apply it will not only make our earth green but can serve the required energy of our daily needs. Though its just an experimental concept but if we can accept this with new technology just think what it can do.
