World’s one of the richest and craziest person, an entrepreneur , CEO of SpaceX, Elon Musk has given a revolutionary change in  the field of rocket and spacecraft in last decade.

Falcon 9 Rocket is the world’s first reusable, two-stage rocket designed and manufactured by SpaceX. It was made for the reliable and safe transport of people and payloads into Earth orbit and beyond. It is world’s first orbital class reusable rocket

Its height is 229.6 ft. long, diameter of 12 ft. Mass 549,054 kg. Before Falcon 9, Elon Musk tried to launch several rockets like Falcon 1 to Earth orbit but failed.

The first test flight of Falcon 9 was on June 4.2010 from Cape Canaveral, Florida and first resupply mission to the ISS was made on October 7, 2012. In 2014 tests began on a reusable first stage for the Falcon 9 that would land on a floating platformOn December 21, 2015, a Falcon 9 launched a payload into orbit, and its first stage made a landing at Cape Canaveral. The first Falcon 9 first-stage ship landing happened on April 8, 2016. It was a day, when no one ever thought about it. A reusable rocket, boosters are coming back to the Earth. It was a day of next generation rocket development. The first Falcon Heavy test flight occurred on February 6, 2018

The central core stage was not recovered, but the two side boosters successfully returned to Cape Canaveral. The payload, a Tesla Roadster, with a SpaceX spacesuit buckled into the driver’s seat, was placed into orbit around the Sun.

Falcon 9 launched the first private crewed spacecraft, a Dragon carrying astronauts Doug Hurley and Robert Behnken, to the ISS on May 30, 2020.

Carrying the good works, Bangladesh is also a part of Falcon 9 rocket’s history. Bangladesh’s first geostationary communications and broadcasting satellite called “Bangabandhu – 1” was also launched by Falcon 9 rocket

So far, Falcon 9 Rocket has made 122 successful launches and a total number of 82 landings. Elon Musk expects to send more rockets to the Earth orbit and ISS. However, he is working on making Starship Rocket in order to colonize Mars. Elon Musk expects to send cargo through Starship Rocket by 2024 and the first 2 crewed Starship by 2026

“When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor”- Elon Musk
