Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan is currently working as a Distinguished Professor of the Department of EEE, Green University of Bangladesh (GUB). He graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka in 1975 and joined BUET as a lecturer in the Department of EEE in 1976. After the completion of M. Sc. Engineering from the same university in 1980, Dr. Ahsan joined the University of Ottawa, Canada for the Ph.D. program. He completed his degree in 1984 and became a full professor in 1988.
Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan has worked as a visiting faculty in a number of Universities at home and abroad. He has also worked as a consultant on many important national and international projects. He has published more than 90 technical papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences. He is the author of a couple of books and a chapter of a book. He is the recipient of a number of awards.
