Dare to fly; Way to Higher Education: Scholarships

Recently we all were delighted by the news of getting one of the prestigious scholarships by one of EEEs’ Graduate Mr. Masum Hossen. The financial status of Bangladeshi students pulls them back from dreaming to study abroad and pursue higher education. Well, there is always a way, if there is a will, proverbs says. What’s the best way to study abroad? Well let’s start the journey with me today. Today, I’ll share a few prestigious scholarships and their information so that you may prepare yourself for your future. Depending on your response, I’ll make more series on this topic in the future.

 Let’s start with Erasmus Mundus. If you are a travel enthusiast, this scholarship can be a life changing experience for you with limitless opportunities. Distributed and controlled by the European Commission, Bangladeshi students can apply for this  prestigious, integrated, international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions. Eligibility may vary year to year. They always update their website. You just need to check it on a regular basis. This scholarship covers full tuition fees, living and travel allowances along with research grants and a golden opportunity to study at three (3) leading universities (one university per semester) with three certificates.

 Let’s move on to the next one. The popular DAAD Scholarship for studying in Germany. Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) is also known as The German Academic Exchange Service. This scholarship is like a vacancy in an organisation. So, it calls for applications when a vacant position is available. It allows you to study, live and work in Germany totally free of cost including travel allowance to your own country and more. However, you need to show at least two years of working experience in the field you are applying for. Having a good academic result is considered a top requirement here.
