Dr. Ahmed Al Mansur is currently working as Associate Professor of the Department of EEE at Green University of Bangladesh (GUB). He completed his undergraduate program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at AUST, Dhaka in 2008. He pursued his M.Sc. program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at IUT, Gazipur in 2011. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the same institute in 2019. His main research fields are Renewable Energy, Photovoltaic Energy Systems, Power Electronics, Energy Conversion and Electrical Machine, Embedded Control System.
Dr. Mansur joined the Ahsanullah University of Science and
Technology, Bangladesh as a lecturer in the Dept. of Electrical and Electronic
Engineering in 2008. He worked there as a part time lecturer from 2008 to 2011.
Then he left the job and joined Prime University as a lecturer in the Dept. of
Electrical and Electronic Engineering and left the job in 2013. After that he
joined as a Senior Lecturer at Green University of Bangladesh and was promoted
to assistant Professor in 2014. After completing his Ph.D. degree, he joined
the same university as an associate professor at the dept. of Electrical and
Electronic Engineering.
Dr. Mansur is renowned for his contributions in the field of power
electronics and renewable energy.He supervised around 400 undergraduate
students. He received six research grants. He has one patents, 45 research
articles in different international journals and international conferences with
196 citations (6 h-index and 5 i10-index). He also works as a reviewer for 6
different reputed journals.
