The EEE Club of the department of EEE has arranged many events in order to celebrate "𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 - 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹". Among all the interesting events, “Electric Selfie Contest” is the most amazing and interesting one. We are very pleased to inform you that the Electric Selfie Contest organized by EEE Club of the department of EEE, Green University of Bangladesh has been successfully completed on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11 a.m. through the Zoom-video conferencing platform. All the participants, respective committee members and other faculty members of department of EEE were present in this program.
Total 35 students from different
universities of Bangladesh participated in this contest. The participants had
to upload their Selfie with any electrical device. There were two rounds in
this contest. In the 1st round, 11 students were selected on the basis of
‘Likes’. Then in the 2nd round,
among 11 students 3 students were selected based on the judge panel number
(20%) and Likes (80%).
The main event started with the presentation of the photos of the participant’s and every participant’s shared their
thoughts and motives behind their picture.
After that, one of our organizing committee
members Ms. Naznin Sultana, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, Green University of
Bangladesh delivered some speeches and gave an overview of this contest. Then,
Mr. Mohammad Asif Ul Haq, Assistant
Professor, Dept. of EEE, GUB said some words towards the contestants.
All the pictures were amazing and
thoughtful. Everyone in the program enjoyed
it a lot. In the prize giving ceremony on 31st October, 2021 three
contestants (1st, 2nd and 3rd) have been declared. They shared their feelings
for winning this contest. The program ended with a vote of thanks.
